Products & pricing
Product details
We agonise over the details and photography on our website. Despite this, some products may vary slightly from their pictures and descriptions.
Each device displays colours differently, and fabrics may have slightly different shades between batches. We can't guarantee that the colour will exactly match the images on the website or a previous order, so please treat product images as illustrative only.
All sizes, weights, capacities, dimensions and measurements shown on our website have a 2% tolerance.
Fabric may shrink by 5–10% after the first wash, depending on the type of fabric bought.
Pricing
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is charged separately and shown in your basket and at checkout before you pay.
We show fabric prices both per half metre and per metre, so you can see clearly how much your fabric will cost. Each unit you order is half a metre, and the total length you're ordering is shown next to the quantity.
Fabric will be sent in one continuous length wherever possible, so if you order 2 metres of one fabric, it will be cut as one piece. If our stock means this isn't possible, we'll contact you and ask whether you'd like to continue with the order, wait for the fabric to come back into stock, or cancel.
Offers and discount codes
Discount codes and offers are subject to the conditions shown with them, including any end date or minimum spend. Only one discount code can be used per order unless we say otherwise. Codes have no cash value and can't be applied to an order after it has been placed.
Ordering with us
Your account
You can order as a guest or create an account. If you create an account, you sign in with a link or code we email you, so keep your email account secure and let us know straight away if you think someone else has used your account. An account lets you see your order history and track how we're getting on with your order.
Payment
We currently use PayPal to process payments. PayPal is a trusted global payment provider and knows its stuff when it comes to securely processing your payment details. You can pay with your PayPal account, or by debit or credit card through PayPal without needing an account.
This also gives you an added level of protection if you're not happy with your order. Please always contact us first if you have any issues, but if we do end up being a bunch of swashbuckling pirates, PayPal's got you covered.
If PayPal isn't for you, please email us at [email protected] and we'll find another way for you to pay.
Placing an order
Once you've placed your order and we've received payment, we'll leap into action and get to work preparing it.
Your order will go through these stages:
Order received → Processing → Dispatched → Delivered
We don't want to pester you, so we'll email you to confirm your order and again when it's on its way with your tracking details, and only otherwise if something changes, such as a refund.
Our contract with you starts when we email to confirm your order. We start cutting fabric soon after, and that's really hard to undo.
If for any reason we can't accept your order, we'll let you know by email, and any payment you've made will be refunded in full.
Reasons we might not accept an order include, but aren't limited to: items being out of stock; unexpected limits on our resources that we couldn't reasonably plan for; an error in the description, price or promotion of a product; or being unable to meet a delivery deadline you need.
Delivery
We aim to cut and pack your order within 2–3 working days. Now and then we take a break. We'll show the dates on our website, and orders placed around then may take longer to dispatch (see our Delivery page). If you need your order urgently, email us before you order and we'll do what we can to get it to you quickly. We can't take responsibility for an order not arriving by a particular date if you haven't told us about it, and we may cancel an order if we don't think we can meet a deadline you need.
UK delivery options, prices and timings are shown at checkout and on our Delivery page.
We can ship worldwide. If you're outside the UK, email us at [email protected] and we'll get you a quote for delivery.
Changing or cancelling an order
If you'd like to change or cancel your order, email us at [email protected] or message us via our Facebook page.
We'll do our best to change your order until it's dispatched, but once we've started cutting your fabric we can't always make changes.
Should your fabric addiction take hold and you want to add more before we've dispatched your order, that's no problem at all. Place a second order and email us both order numbers. We'll combine the parcels and refund the difference in delivery costs.
Refunds & returns
Returns
As a small business, we pride ourselves on our customer service, and your satisfaction is a priority. Buying fabric online can be a little tricky, so if your order isn't quite what you expected, let us know within 14 days of receiving it and return it to us.
When returning an order to us:
- Email us at [email protected] to tell us you're returning your order, with your order number.
- Choose a postage method that gives proof of postage and tracking, and that will reach us within 14 days of you telling us.
- Make sure the items are in the same condition you received them. Fabric must be uncut and unwashed.
- Send your return to the address at the top of this page.
Returned items are your responsibility until they reach us, so please pack them carefully so they can't be damaged on the way. We'll refund the cost of return postage if your return is because an item was faulty, not as described, or damaged on delivery.
See our Returns & Refunds page for a step-by-step guide.
Faulty or incorrect items
If something arrives faulty, damaged or isn't what you ordered, email us with your order number and a photo as soon as you can. We'll put it right with a replacement or a full refund, including delivery and the cost of returning it. You have at least 30 days from delivery to reject faulty goods for a full refund, and your legal rights continue after that.
Refunds
We'll process your refund within 1–2 working days of receiving your return, using the payment method you used to order. Refunds can take up to 5 working days to reach you. If you haven't received yours after that, email us at [email protected].
If you return your whole order, we'll also refund your original standard delivery charge. Refunds don't include the cost of returning items to us, unless the goods are faulty or not as described.
Liability
We'll take reasonable care in providing our products. We aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable when you placed your order, or for any business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
We aren't responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as postal disruption or severe weather. If one happens, we'll let you know and do what we can to reduce the delay.
Privacy, data and cookies
We know that when you shop with us, you trust us to hold and process your information securely and with integrity. Our Privacy Policy explains how we hold, process and store your data and why. Our Cookie Policy explains the cookies we use.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on this page when you placed it. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
